Perfect Spring?

Vibernums? Gorgeous!
Magnolias? Unbelievable!
Lilacs? Fantastic!
Redbuds? Wow!
Crabapples? Beautiful!

Could this possibly be the most perfect spring we have ever had?I can't remember a spring where I've enjoyed looking at flowering shrubs and trees like this year... Strong color, full & even displays and wonderful aromas.

Child's Play

While waiting for mommy to get home, Andrew and Savannah took advantage of the EXCELLENT weather to play outdoors...


Andrew is getting more and more into pretending he's in one of the Harry Potter movies... Above he's using the Gryffindor blade to fight a series of wizard duels to try and defeat as many dark lords as possible. (That's in his words, not mine)


Savannah LOVES to do cartwheels, backbends and handstands whenever she gets a chance... Sometimes we think she's part monkey. :-)

Welcome Home, Mommy!!!

Laurie has been gone since Friday morning to a scrapbooking retreat at Little Galilee Christian Assembly. And, although we've had an awesome time this weekend, it will be VERY nice to have her back home with us.

TKD Tournament

Spent some time this afternoon at a TKD tounament for Andrew at Victory Academy...






Andrew received third place... But he said he was ok with that. "I haven't practiced much lately. And I'm just glad that the other two got first and second... They deserved it." :-)

Now off to Barnes & Noble for some more daddy & kids time before Savannah goes to a birthday party tonight and Andrew and I stuff ourselves with pizza.

Last Of 'Em Done

This is what I did with most of my day (again)...








And now the poppies are DONE. Yeah!!! "California Orange," "Oriental Red," mixed and "Lauren's Grape" seedlings (100's and 100's) have all been transplanted. And now I wait... Hopefully they'll make it to the next stage of planting in the ground.


There is still SO much to do in the greenhouse and out to get ready for planting at my customers and at BCC.

Ahhhh... Day of Rest

Awesome day to kick back on my front porch, read, watch some Masters on my iPhone, think about life, look at my flowers/plants growing and... Do taxes... UGH!!!
